One of the projects I'm going to commit to in 2014 is Project Life. Again. And yes, I've said that for the past two years and by March/April have decided that it takes too much time from my traditional scrapbooking to want to continue to do it. And every year at the end of the year I kind of regret it. Because the thing is, it doesn't really take up any more of my time because I'm just wasting that time on the computer or TV or somewhere else not scrapbook related. So in April if you see me posting again about wanting to stop, you need to hold me accountable, yell at me, loudly, and make me read this post again.
But I am taking a somewhat different approach. I've always tried to fit in all of our lives...mine, hubby's, and my daughter's. And I'm not going to do that this year. This is MY album. If I do things with them, great, but if not, it's all me. Something I don't currently capture at all.
Once again, I'm using the Style A pocket pages. For the title page, I cut off and sewed shut the far right hand column so that this page will be smaller than the other pages. Then I added some American Crafts Thickers alpha stickers to the outside of the page protector as well as a tag that I ran through my typewriter. I sewed the tag on for extra stability and added a Pink Paislee star and arrow sticker to finish it off.
I'm excited, again, for this project. They say third times the charm. I hope they're right!
